Sony's PSP is hitting retailer shelves across the world, including the dinky shop behind our Shanghai office. Froogle is listing PSPs for as low as US$249 but most prices quoted on the Web include one or more games.
In the dark crannies of Fengyang road in Shanghai game heads can pick up a PSP Standard Pack for around $231 (1900 Yuan) - and they have plenty of stock! In Hong Kong the PSP is still going for $279.90.
More on the PSP and availability of cartridges as it comes in. We have had the thumbs up on PSPs from game studio executives and analysts on buy- and sell-sides. The Washington Post has a good review or the latest "must have" device. Looks like this could be the big one 007.
