Tudou, www.toodou.com,ranked first in an August survey conducted by China Broadband technology. The company announced a second round of US$8.5 million in May. Granite Global Ventures, JAFCO came in on the second round and first round investor IDG VC also participated.
56.com generated a lot of attention back in August when Sequoia's China fund was rumored to have invested. That rumor continues to lurk but there has been no official word from 56.com or Sequoia.
