Fugumobile Names UK Director
Shanghai-based mobile gaming and mobile marketing company Fugumobile has appointed Simon Bennett as managing director of Fugumobile's UK operations. Bennett previously worked for Nokia in the UK, Finland and China. Fugumobile develops mobile games and develops mobile marketing solutions in China and international markets. Fugumobile CEO Ranjit Singh told Pacific Epoch that Fugumobile's overseas mobile marketing business has been growing rapidly. Singh said that Fugumobile is currently looking to beef up its nine-person Shanghai team to expand its local mobile marketing offerings. Fugumobile has to-date been funded by its founders, who came from Mobile2Win, but the company is currently talking to some VCs.
