Shanghai Composite Down Slightly

The Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.1 percent to close at 4,749.369 on Friday, while the Shenzhen Composite Index dropped 2.17 percent to close at 1,319.55. Trading volume on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges reached 417.223 billion Yuan and 77.664 billion Yuan, respectively, on Friday. Chinese wireless value added service (WVAS) company Bewinner Communications started trading on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange under the ticker "002148" on Friday.
