Konka Q3 Profit Up 51.37%

Editorial Summary
Chinese electronics manufacturer Konka (000016.SZ) released third quarter 2007 results on October 31. Konka generated 2.88 billion Yuan in revenue during the quarter, a decrease of 5.5 percent year-on-year. Net profit for the company increased 51.37 percent year-on-year to reach 13.2 million Yuan in the third quarter. Konka said revenue decrease for the three months was due to capital spending on subscription to newly issued stocks on the domestic stock market.
