CORRECTED: EA Responds To Lawsuit Rumors

Electronic Arts (EA) (Nasdaq: ERTS) made no threats about suing Chinese online game developer Firestone Software CEO Wu Xisang (Fishman) over negative comments Wu made about EA in his personal blog, an EA China spokeperson told Pacific Epoch on Monday. The spokesperson was responding to a Donews report from November 20 that claimed an EA insider said the US video game company was asking for a public apology and threatening to sue Fishman. The spokesperson clarified that no one at EA said the company was considering legal action over the comments and that no one at EA has been in contact with Firestone or its CEO regarding this issue.
