Apple began negotiations with Chinese companies, including Shenzhen Telling Telecom Development Co., Ltd., to find its sole iPhone distributor in the first half of 2007, reports China Times quoting an industry insider on December 4. According to the insider, Apple has yet to choose which company will become its Chinese agent. Apple public relations manager Huang Yuna neither confirmed nor denied the rumor. Shenzhen Telling Telecom Development Co., Ltd., a main subsidiary of Telling Telecommunication Holding Co., Ltd. (000829.SZ), covers 10 percent market share and distributes Motorola, Nokia and Samsung products, according to the report.
