Container ship operator China Shipping Container Lines Company Limited (CSCL) (2866.HK) will begin trading on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on Wednesday under the stock ticker 601866, reports Security Times. The company plans to issue up to 2.3 billion A-shares.
State-owned Sinosteel Corporation subsidiaries Sinosteel Jilin Carbon Co., Ltd. (000928.SZ) and Sinosteel Anhui Tianyuan Tech. Co., Ltd. (002057.SZ) confirmed on Tuesday that the State Council has approved Sinosteel's application to list the entire company. According to the announcement, Sinosteel is now considering setting up a joint-stock company. The company has no plans for a backdoor listing and will not merge its two subsidiaries. A previous report said that Sinosteel will look to run a Hong Kong offering after it goes public in Shanghai.
