Alipay Partners With PSP For North American Entry

Alibaba Group's online payment subsidiary AliPay announced on December 20 that it has signed a cooperation agreement with Philliou Selwanes Partners (PSP) to promote Alipay service to North American merchants. Alipay had more than 56 million Chinese users, with more than 80,000 new users registering daily, by November 2007. Alipay's average daily transaction volume exceeds US$23 million, and sees an average of 1.2 million transactions a day.
