Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) and Chinese domain name registrar HiChina (www.net.cn) were found not guilty in their lawsuit against a Hangzhou lawyer surnamed Guo in the Beijing Haidian District People's Court on January 9, reports ChinaByte. The court ruled in favor of the defendants citing a lack of evidence that they delayed deletion of Baidu links to Guo's personal email, sent through HiChina. Last December, Guo sued the companies for RMB1 million in emotional damages.
