China Film Group Corporation plans to raise RMB90 billion in a public listing by the end of 2008, reports Beijing Business Today quoting China Film Chairman Yang Buting. China Film had RMB2.9 billion in total assets in 2006, said the report. The group plans to spend funds raised to build a film production base and theaters, as well as produce more big-budget films, said Yang.
