Chinese contractor Zhong-Tie Construction Group Corporation Limited was recently awarded two railway construction contracts in Libya worth a total of US$2.6 billion (RMB18.66 billion), reports China Business News. The two railway projects are scheduled to start in June 2008, said the report. Zhong-Tie signed oversea contracts for RMB89.5 billion in the first eleven months of 2007, and RMB43.9 billion in 2006, according to the report.
Zhong-Tie expects its 2.8 billion A-shares to begin trading in Shanghai on March 10 and its up to 1.7 billion H-shares in Hong Kong on March 14, said the report.
