Jiangsu-based solar power products manufacturer Trina Solar Ltd (NYSE: TSL) reported net revenue of US$301.8 million, up 163.6 percent year-on-year, and net income of US$34.9 million, up 180.8 percent year-on-year, for the fiscal year of 2007 before market on Tuesday. In the fourth quarter, the company booked $101.4 million in net revenue, up 22.8 percent quarter-on-quarter, and $15.7 million in net income, up 116.8 percent from the third quarter. Trina Solar module shipments increased 13 percent quarter-on-quarter to 23.91 MW in the three month period. In both the forth quarter and full year, the majority of sales came from Spain at 56 percent and 41 percent, respectively. Trina expects to begin sales in the US market this year.

The company is targeting first quarter 2008 revenue between $112 million and $120 million and shipments of between 29 MW to 31 MW of PV modules. For the full year revenue is expected between $770 million and $808 million with PV module shipments between 200 MW to 210 MW.
