Giant Interactive Joins PCU Million Club With ZT Online

Giant Interactive (NYSE: GA) exceeded 1.5 million peak concurrent users (PCU) for its in-house developed MMORPG ZT Online last Saturday making a new record for the game. Giant chairman and CEO Shi Yuzhu said the company attributes the new high to its latest expansion pack "Neighboring Friends". The expansion allows gamers to search for other players by geographic location.
Giant Interactive recorded 888,000 PCU in ZT Online last November after reaching a low of 800,000 PCU in the third quarter of 2007.
