Chinese software and game company Kingsoft Corporation Ltd.'s (3888.HK) new policy to increase pay rates for new employees and employees lacking stock options went into effect this month, reports 17173.com citing a company insider. According to the insider, wages were increased 20-30 percent making this the highest wage increase in company history. A company insider quoted in a Sohu report, however, said wage hikes did not pass the twenty percent mark. Kingsoft chairman and acting CEO Qiu Bojun said in January that the company would increase pay rates in an effort to boost the recruitment of new graduates.
