Rumor: NetEase To Sponsor Asian Games

Editorial Summary

NetEase (Nasdaq: NTES) is expected to sponsor the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games and establish the official website for the event, reports Sina quoting an unnamed insider. An Asian Games insider said NetEase will sign on the sponsorship in the next few days. NetEase will invest about US$10 million, including US$3.5 million in cash, in the Games scheduled to begin on November 12, 2010.
