Beijing-based airport and in-flight digital screen advertiser AirMedia Group Inc. (Nasdaq: AMCN) has established a strategic partnership with Shanghai Media Group's (SMG) wholly-owned subsidiary WingsMedia to exclusively provide SMG's news, theme program and documentary content on AirMedia’s airport and airplane network from March 2008 to February 2010. According to the announcement, AirMedia’s airport programs generally offer 25 minutes of advertising in each broadcast hour cycled for 16 hours per day. In-flight programming is typically 45 minutes to an hour with 5-16 minutes of advertising content.
AirMedia also has an exclusive content agreement with China Central Television (CCTV) for its air travel network.
