Chinese video site Tudou.com has partnered with Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) China and the US Motion Picture Association (MPA) to hold an online video competition for protecting intellectual property rights from February 29 to April 8, according to a Tudou announcement released on Wednesday. One to three minute entries must contain the Microsoft logo and praise copyright protection or vilify infringement. Microsoft and the MPA will adopt winning entries for public service announcements, said the announcement. Contest winners can receive a one week trip to Hollywood, a Bill Gates autographed copy of Vista software or Lenovo (0992.HK) computer.
Microsoft partnered with video site Ku6.com for an Olympic-themed and Microsoft promotional video contest in January.
