Software and service company eFuture Information Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: EFUT) announced financial results for the full year of 2007 after market close on Wednesday. eFuture recorded US$11.7 million in total revenue, up 78.7 percent year-on-year, and a net loss of US$3.4 million, down 407.1 percent from 2006, in the twelve month period. In the fourth quarter, the company saw total revenue of US$6.8 million, up 140.2 percent year-on-year, and a net loss of US$3.4 million, down 368.6 percent from the year-ago period. Software sales increased 30 percent year-on-year to $2.8 million in the three-month period while service income was $2.7 million and hardware sales were $1.3 million.
eFuture acquired Nanjing Tangcheng Network Technology Development Corporation, Beijing Wangku Hutong Information Technology Co., Ltd., Crownhead and its subsidiary Guangzhou Royalstone, and a majority stake in Beijing bFuture Inc. from January to November of 2007. eFuture is anticipating 2008 total revenue between $17 million and $18 million.
