Dell To Spend US$23M On China Equipment

Editorial Summary

Dell (Nasdaq: DELL) plans to purchase approximately US$23 billion worth of computer parts and accessories from China in 2008, up from $18 billion last year, reports Sina quoting Dell chairman and CEO Michael Dell in China on March 20. Dell also intends to spend RMB1.7 million to build six new learning centers by year end to bring total centers to ten, according to Dell. The first three of the six locations will be built in Tianjin, Huangzhou and Chengdu, said Dell.
