Solarfun Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: SOLF) reported 2007 net revenue of US$328.3 million, up 280 percent year-on-year, and net income of US$20.3 million, up 40 percent year-on-year, before market open on Thursday. In the fourth quarter, company revenue reached $135.4 million, an increase of 31 percent from the third quarter, with net income of $9.1 million, up 4.5 percent quarter-on-quarter.
Solarfun expects to see capacity increase to from 240MW, reached in 2007, to 360MW by mid-year 2008. The company plans to have sales contracts totaling over 160MW with prices at or above $3.74 by the end of 2008.
Harold Hoskens became Solarfun CEO on February 25 after leaving Taiwan's TPO Displays Corporation.
