Shares of steel producers were down Friday. Shares of Angang Steel Company Limited (000898.SZ), Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (600005.SH) and Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (600019.SH) fell 1.94 percent, 0.72percent and 0.25 percent, respectively, on Friday. Baoshan Iron & Steel chairman Xu Lejiang said that China's iron and steel industry will undergo consolidation and restructuring, reports zh818.com.
Shares of Yunnan Copper (000878.SZ) increased 1.04 percent and Anhui Conch Cement Company Limited (600585.SH) rose 3.61 percent on Friday.
