Chinese telecom equipment provider ZTE's (000063.SZ, 0763.HK) U980 model handset accounts for one-third of all TD-SCDMA handsets sold by China Mobile (NYSE: CHL, 941.HK), reports China Business News quoting a ZTE employee. According to the employee, the Ministry of Industry and Information (MII) has granted licenses to more than 30 TD-SCDMA model handsets.
