SARFT Approves Another Private Video License

Beijing-based online video site Voole.com became the fourth privately-owned site to receive a broadcasting license from the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) on April 13, reports China Business News. Voole.com charges users for access to video content from China Film Group, Media Asia Group, TVB and United International Pictures, said the report. The three year license goes into effect on April 30. Joy.cn, ViewToo Broadband Technology (51tv.net), and Beijing-based entertainment producer Enlight Media have also received broadcasting licenses.
