Shanghai-based online game company Shstorm Entertainment plans to start alpha testing of its first in-house developed game, 2.5D MMORPG "Yu Yan Online", in two weeks, reports Sina quoting company chairman and CEO William Zhu. After nearly two years of research and development, Shstorm Entertainment is scheduled to release three games in the next three quarters, said Zhu.

Zhu confessed that he idolizes Giant Interactive (NYSE: GA) president Shi Yuzhu, and Yu Yan Online has been modeled after Giant Interactive's 2D martial arts MMORPG ZT Online. Zhu has invested tens of millions of Yuan in Shstorm Entertainment since joining the company in 2007. Shstorm Entertainment was established in Shanghai in 2006. Zhu is the former president of Shanghai-based online game company T2CN. He joined T2CN after resigning from his position as Shanda (Nasdaq: SNDA) vice president in April, 2005.
