Shanghai Jin Jiang International Hotels (Group) Company Limited (2006.HK) announced 2007 financial results on Monday. Revenue for 2007 rose 5.5 percent year-on-year to RMB 3.2 billion, with profit attributable to shareholders up 14.3 percent to RMB 383 million. Earnings per share were RMB 8.4 cents, down from RMB 9.97 cents in 2006. Jin Jiang said that through the end of December it had 380 total hotels in operation or under development in 100 cities. The company had opened 160 hotels under its economy hotel brand Jinjiang Inn through the end of 2007.
