Chinese wireless value-added service provider Linktone Limited (Nasdaq: LTON) announced on Tuesday that it has chosen Anthony Chia and Jimmy Lai as the company's new COO and CFO, respectively.

Chia worked previously as a senior advisor to PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk, which became Linktone's controlling shareholder on April 3, and spent 12 years at MediaCorp Singapore. Scheduled to join Linktone by the end of the month, Lai comes to the company as the former CFO of IT solutions provider Palm Commerce Holdings. Lai is also the former associate vice president of investor relations for Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) (NYSE: SMI, 0981.HK).

Linktone concurrently announced the addition of Muliawan Guptha to the company's board and the resignation of directors Elaine La Roche, Allan Kwan, Agus Mulyanto and Sutanto Hartono. Colin Sung, the company's former CFO, resigned as CFO and board member effective January 31.
