Shares of Chinese liquor-maker Kweichow Moutai Co., Ltd. (600519.SH) decreased 3.7 percent after the company released first quarter financials. During the three month period, Kweichow Moutai saw net profit increase 62.99 percent year-on-year to reach RMB 873.4 million.
Shares of China COSCO Holdings Company Limited (601919.SH, 1919.HK) soared 9.99 percent on Tuesday. COSCO president Wei Jiafu said this month that COSCO plans to invest RMB 10 billion on ships, ports and logistics in Hainan including the establishment of a ship repair facility in Yangpu, reports cfi.net.cn.
