Solargiga Profit Beats Expectations At RMB 292.2M

Photovoltaic cell component manufacturer Solargiga Energy Holdings Limited (757.HK) reported full year 2007 revenue of RMB 1.02 billion, up 145.7 percent year-on-year, on Thursday. Monosilicon ingot and wafer sales accounted for RMB 864.7 million of the total. Profit to equity shareholders was up 166.5 percent to RMB 292.2 million for the year. Solargiga expects to have annual output of over 200 MW in 2008. The company began trading on the Hong Kong Exchange on March 31.
