Chinese fabless semiconductor company Actions Semiconductor (Nasdaq: ACTS) reported earnings for the first quarter of 2008 after market close on Monday. Revenue for the quarter was $25.2 million, compared to $30.3 million in the year-ago period and $32.3 million in the previous quarter. Including a $5.9 million reinvestment incentive, Actions recorded net income of $10.8 million in the third quarter, a decline from $12.7 million in the first quarter of 2007 and $19.4 million from the fourth quarter of last year. Actions expects revenue to come in between $22 and $25 million for the second quarter with fully diluted earnings per share of $0.08 to $0.10.
