Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (600005.SH) signed a cooperation contract worth RMB 3.6 billion with Henan-based Pingdingshan Coal Co. Ltd on April 26 to jointly establish a coal storage center to house over 10 million tons of coal, reports 21st Century Business Herald. Wuhan Iron and Steel increased 3.47 percent to RMB 15.81 on Tuesday while Zijin Mining Group (601899.SH) and Datong Coal Industry (601001.SH) sank 9.98 percent and 10.01 percent, respectively, to RMB 11.28 and RMB 35.88.
