Taiwanese music company Rock Records & Tapes is suing Carrefour operator Shanghai Carhua Supermarket Ltd, Maoming Gainfast Tech and Science Development Co., Ltd and a Liaoning media company for selling unauthorized VCDs of Taiwanese singer Yuki, reports Shanghai Morning Post. Rock Records is suing for a total of RMB 280,000 in the Shanghai No.1 Intermediate People's Court, said the report. A Rock Records employee discovered the bootleg material after purchasing two Yuki VCDs from Carrefour's Gubei, Shanghai store on April 15, 2006. The court began hearing the case on April 29.
