China Digital TV Holding, Co. Ltd. (NYSE: STV) reported $17.2 million in net revenues, up 65.4 percent year-on-year, and down 11.8 percent quarter-on-quarter, for the first quarter of 2008 after market close on Wednesday. Net income for the period was $11.4 million, up 84.1 percent year-on-year and down 11.5 percent sequentially. The company sold 2.3 million smart cards in the period, up 78.3 percent annually and down 11.5 percent from the last quarter.
China Digital TV is projecting first quarter 2008 net revenue between $17.5 million and $19.5 million and net revenues for the full year between $79 million and $84 million.
