Microsoft China and Chinese handset retailer D.Phone plan to expand their joint Windows Mobile stores from nine outlets to 50, reports Beijing Times quoting D.Phone chairman Liu Donghai. Microsoft China has partnered with Chinese IT product distributor Digital China (0861.HK) to open 21 Windows Mobile stores in first- and second-tier cities, said Microsoft Greater China communications department director Chen Jingxin. Microsoft China announced intentions to partner with the companies on Windows Mobile stores last October.
