Chinese software and online game company Kingsoft Corporation Ltd. (3888.HK) announced on Thursday that it has joined with two Vietnamese partners to establish Hanoi-based joint venture Kim Quang Software and Technology Joint Stock Company. Kingsoft will invest $199,000 for a 19.9 percent stake in the company that will manufacture and distribute Kingsoft software; design, manufacture and supply mobile and IT products and value-added services; and serve as a Kingsoft Internet service agent. Vietnam partners Quang Minh DEC Communications and Technology and Mr. Phan Dang Khoa have agreed to invest $500,000 and $301,000 in the new company, respectively. Kingsoft began marketing entertainment software in Vietnam in 2004.
