Chinese online game operator Perfect World (Nasdaq: PWRD) announced on Tuesday that it entered into an agreement with Malaysian game operator Cubinet Interactive(s) Pte. Ltd. on May 30 to license Perfect World's game "Chi Bi" for operation in Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore. Chi Bi will be translated into English, Vietnamese and Thai for operation in the new markets. Perfect World games Perfect World II, Legend of Martial Arts and Zhu Xian have also been licensed in Southeast Asian countries. Perfect World booked $5.5 million in overseas licensing revenue in the first quarter.
