The Shanghai Composite Index rose 5.24% to close at 2,941.115 while the Shenzhen Composite Index soared 5.14% to close at 843.19 on Wednesday. Trading volume on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges reached RMB 69.029 billion and RMB 33.773 billion, respectively.
Shares of Beijing Jingxi Tourism Development (000802.SZ), Beijing Capital Tourism (600258.SH) and China CYTS Tours Holding (600138.SH) soared 9.98%, 10.03% and 10.04%, respectively. Beijing Jingxi Tourism paid a RMB 0.2 dividend for every ten shares held on June 17.
Ningbo-based QL Electronics plans to list on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange through the issue of 26 million A-shares on June 26, with China Securities serving as the underwriter, according to a June 18 filing with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The company will list under stock ticker "002257".
