The simplified Chinese version of the web browser Firefox 3.0 was downloaded 120,000 times on June 18, its first day of release, reports Sohu quoting a statement from Firefox developer Mozilla. Firefox has over five million users in China and 3% market share, and expects to reach 5% market share in China by the end of 2008, said the report quoting Mozilla Beijing subsidiary Mozilla Online Ltd. (Beijing Mou-Zhi Network Technologies Ltd) CEO Gong Li. Mozilla recorded a total of 5.5 million downloads for Firefox 3 worldwide on Wednesday, said the report.
