Editorial Summary
Beijing began trial operation of its free wireless Internet network in areas surrounding Olympics stadiums, transportation hubs and select tourist attractions on June 25, reports Sina. Beijing expects to cover main urban areas with free wireless access by the end of 2009 and expand to surrounding rural areas in 2010.
