TV Executives Flock To SNS, MySpace Rumor Follows Facebook

Zou Yitian, the former producer of Hong Kong-based Phoenix Satellite TV (08002.HK) programs "Reading Everyday" and "Overview of the World", has joined MySpace China in charge of public relations and internal affairs, reports DoNews. During her five year stint at Phoenix, Zou hosted talk shows including "Behind the Headlines" and "Reading for Eight Minutes", according to the report. Before joining the Hong Kong giant, Zou starred in the 1984 film "The Girl in Red", said the report.
China Central Television (CCTV) brand director and blogger Yang Xiaoyan is rumored to be joining US social networking site Facebook as the company's China CEO. Yang reportedly resigned from her CCTV posts on June 30.
