A-shares Fall, Everbright Securities Receives Approval To List

The Shanghai Composite Index slid 3.09% to close at 2,651.605, while the Shenzhen Composite Index dropped 2.08% to close at 776.67 on Tuesday. Trading volume on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges reached RMB 43 billion and RMB 21.1 billion, respectively.
Shares of China Merchants Bank (600036.SH, 3968.HK), Hua Xia Bank Co., Limited (600015.SH) and China Minsheng Banking Corp. (CMBC) (600016.SH) fell 9.99%, 5.63% and 5.09% on Thursday.
The CSRC Issuance Examination Commission approved Everbright Securities' listing application on June 30, reports Securities Times. Everbright Securities plans to issue up to 520 million shares, with the company's total shares to be valued at a maximum of RMB 3.4 billion after the listing. China South Locomotive & Rolling Stock Cooperation Limited's listing application was also approved by the CSRC Issuance Examination Commission on June 30.
