Qin Zhuo, the Shanghai digital products manager of Gome's (493.HK) Yolo, was sentenced to six years in prison and a RMB 60,000 fine for accepting bribes totaling RMB 925,000 in 2006, reports Xinmin Evening News. According to the report, the Shanghai Nanhui District Court made its decision on Thursday finding Qin guilty of the following crimes. Qin received RMB 505,000 in bribes from a distributor surnamed Ni between February and August of 2006, and reimbursed Ni for a RMB 180,000 car, one that was purchased for Qin, with RMB 70,000 in November, 2006. Qi took bribes totaling RMB 310,000 from a Shanghai electronics company manager surnamed Shao between April and August, 2006. Gome acquired Yolo in 2006.
