Beijing-based online video site Youku.com boasts nearly 100 million hours of average monthly viewing time, or more than half of the combined industry total, according to a company announcement citing 2008 first half statistics from the Data Center of the China Internet (DCCI). According to the statistics, Youku's monthly viewing time was 1.8 times that of number two online video site Shanghai-based Tudou.com, reports Beijing Times citing the DCCI stats. Youku's total video views exceeded 116 million hours and 4.6 billion views in June.
