Beijing-based online video site Ku6.com has hired senior directors hailing from Tencent (0700.HK) and investment organization MIH for respective charges of technology maintenance and multi-media development, reports eNet. In preparation for the 2008 Olympics, Ku6.com intends to expand bandwidth to 220GB to enable a flow of 250 million pages per day. The SARFT-licensed video site purchased Olympic broadcasting rights from China Central Television (CCTV) in late June.
