Haier To Set Up Holland Subsidiary

Haier will establish a subsidiary in Holland on April 1 to explore overseas IT markets, reports China Business News. Haier Overseas IT Marketing Department manager Zhang Jun confirmed the news and said Haier's products exhibited at CeBIT Germany, including notebooks and LCD monitors, are related to the establishment of the new subsidiary. Haier exported ten million Yuan worth of IT products in 2004 and hopes to increase IT exports to 200 million Yuan in 2005. The new subsidiary will be responsible for Haier-branded IT product sales in Europe.
