Jack Ma: Taobao To Challenge eBay US In 2008

Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba CEO Jack Ma recently told Information Times that Alibaba's online auction site Taobao.com now commands 70 percent of China's online auction market. Ma said that Taobao will continue supporting and promoting China's online auction market, as the current market size will pale in comparison with the market three years from now. Ma also said that by 2008 Taobao will be on equal footing with eBay's global operations.
