Rumor: Google, Yahoo Courting Bokee

An executive from a Google investment company in Asia has arrived in Beijing to negotiate the acquisition of Chinese blog site Bokee, according to a rumor reported by China Times. According to the report, Google will pay US$160 million for Bokee, of which US$90 million will be in cash and the remaining in Google shares. The report also said that there are rumors that Yahoo is considering acquiring Bokee, and is willing to pay US$200 million for the company, including an initial US$50 million cash payment. Both Google and Bokee refused to comment on the rumor.
