Alibaba has named Lanzhou Jiu Tian Information Technology its authorized Internet real name registration partner in Western China's Gansu province, reports Lanzhou Morning News. The two companies set up a real name registration center in Gansu on July 10. Alibaba took over Yahoo China's 3721.com real name registration service in late 2005 when Yahoo acquired a 40 percent stake in Alibaba and turned over control of Yahoo China to Alibaba. Alibaba's real name service has nearly one million users.
