China Gets 1,000 Yuan PCs

Sichuan PC maker Sinomanic recently released new a new desktop PC model called "Long En Rural PC", reports qq.com. The PCs cost 998 Yuan and use China's domestically developed CPU Loongson (Dragon Chip). The Long En Rural PC does not come with a monitor but can be connected to a TV. Sinomanic has also developed a budget laptop priced at 1,998 Yuan.
