Chinadotcom Launches Mobile Blog Service
Chinadotcom has launched a new mobile blog channel, xboke.com. According to a chinadotcom statement the Xboke mobile blog service is the first of its kind in China. The Xboke service is based on a combination of traditional web-based blog services, camera handset technology and mobile network service platforms. A blogger can email photos taken by a camera handset to x@xboke.com via multimedia message service. The photos will then appear on the blog site. The blogger can also attach a text message to their blogs using their mobile handset. Chinadotcom said the service will be a cash cow after short message service.
